Location

VIC/P44 permit, Otway Basin, offshore Victoria, approximately 8.5 kilometres north of the Casino field, 250 kilometres south-west of Melbourne.

Discovered

The Henry field was discovered in July 2005.   

First Production

First gas was achieved on 21 February 2010.

Current Status

Henry was sanctioned in November 2007 and involves the drilling and connection of the Henry and Netherby fields to the existing Casino infrastructure.  Construction of the new offshore facilities started in early December 2009 and was completed on 15 February 2010.  First gas was achieved on 21 February 2010 when the Netherby well flowed back to the onshore processing facility at Iona.
