Take on the Asthma Foundation’s Take a Breather challenge

07 May 2010

Santos is supporting the Asthma Foundation of South Australia’s Take a Breather Charity Challenge: Rogaining, which is being held next month.

Take a Breather will be held in beautiful Bundaleer Forest near Jamestown north of Adelaide. Rogaining is an outdoor strategy and adventure sport for all ages, in which participants walk, run or ride in teams of two to five, navigating with map and compass to collect hidden markers. Courses range in distance from 5km to 40km.

Asthma is one of the most widespread long-term health problems in Australia with one in nine children and one in ten adults affected. Participants can raise money for the Asthma Foundation, which will go towards the foundation’s services and education to South Australians living with asthma and other respiratory conditions.

Santos supports the Asthma Foundation as part of its extensive community support package and is encouraging its employees to take part.

With your help we can make Take a Breather successful, rewarding and fun.
