Employees, gathered here at the GoMA entrance in their stylish blue Santos t-shirts, celebrated the success of GoMA’s 21st Century: Art in the First Decade exhibition.
Santos’ Brisbane employees gathered at the city’s Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA) recently to celebrate the huge success of the gallery’s 21st Century: Art in the First Decade exhibition.
The event was an opportunity for Santos to continue to show its support of GoMA as the gallery’s primary sponsor and served as a kick-start to the Easter break, with everyone indulgin in chocolate eggs and hot cross buns.
The exhibition, which ran from 18 December 2010 until 26 April 2011, was the largest contemporary exhibition ever staged by an Australian art institution and attracted a staggering 451,000 visitors from all over the world.
GoMA is now preparing for Surrealism: The Poetry of Dreams, which will be launched 11 June 2011.
